Thank you for your review. Vitamin D is a fat-soluble compound and has a fatty base. Traditionally, soybean oil was used in this product, but nowadays the raw material comes in a base of safflower oil. This type of oil is not from one of the major allergens, so it's considered acceptable for general use. While a fat-soluble nutrient like vitamin D requires fat as part of its matrix and comes that way as an ingredient that we use to make our supplements, it's still important to take it with a fat-containing meal to ensure proper absorption.
No soy VITAMIN D (no pun intended) ☺️
