Protective Pad

Rug pad

The pad is as described but not sure if I have it down correctly. When going online, it is recommended to put textured side down (on LVP flooring) with smooth side up but in pictures I have seen for this pad, it shows the textured side up. Which is correct?

Not Great

Bought this pad to go under a runner I purchased, the rug moves on the runner, very odd, so we have put a pad between the pad and the runner to stop movement. Not great. The pad has some thickness and that is what we wanted, but the pad doesn’t work as I would expect.
