Nice rug but smells for a good few weeks

It’s not as soft as expected. Smells a lot and the edges take a long time to settle flat. The design n color are great

Doesn’t lay flat

Colors and pattern of the rug are great... but it doesn’t lay flat. It appears that it was not woven evenly. It’s been laying on the tile floor for 3 days. If this doesn’t resolve, I will be returning it. Also I was surprised by how thin the rug is. Seems very cheaply made to me.
