Black is it
I am past 60 and use the black eyeshadow primer. It hides my seriously baggy eyelids and when I use soft grey eyeshadow on top, it enhances my faded blue eyes. Alchemy. Look it up, kids.

Love it
I love this primer, but you have to use it sparingly. A light coating is all you need. I use the HD Mattifying setting spray (in the black bottle) and I’m good for 12-16 hours (even in hot, humid weather while cosplaying). I’ve tried other eyelid primers and nothing else measures up. My 1 gripe is that colors don’t pop like I expected, but I just build my eyeshadow to get the desired effects.

I use this as concealer because the skin tone one is perfect for me and I just set it with powder and it works as concealer.

Used this for years
I’ve used this base for years…unfortunately you’re out of the skin tone color. I always get compliments on my eye shadow…even after going to the gym after a full day of work! I rub a little on my hand and then blend on the whole eye lid. Works wonders.

Not for me
This does not blend well with powder eye shadow. My recommendation is to get a high def, vibrant colored eye shadow palette. It will do the same thing as this.

Not worth it.
I got it for the price point, and I wanted to try something new. I got the white one and was pretty excited to try it, but the product is just disappointing. I was hoping for something to make my shadows pop, give them more staying power, and something that was going to be all around inexpensive compared to Nars, urban decay, or pretty vulgar. I thought the color and consistency looked nice in the jar, but whether I used my finger or a brush to get product out it would feel wet. Made my eyelids feel oily/wet and my shadow would become an oil slick within an two hours. Ruined my entire bit of shadow because it ended up creasing really bad because of this. If you’ve ever used a cleansing balm to remove your makeup, imagine that mess, but on your eyes where you’ve just spent however long to do your makeup. Not cute. I don’t have oily skin, with the pandemic and wearing masks I’ve been a little dry(not flaky). I tried using this product a couple times with subtle variations to how I used it. It didn’t matter how little product I used, if I set it with a powder(which kind of takes away from the idea of using a primer), I tried waiting longer before I applied, and I even tried it with different shadow products. Nothing worked. Unless NYX changes the formula I wouldn’t suggest purchasing this product.

Helps color payoff but creases :(
When I use it, I have to do a thick layer or the color payoff isn't that great. Whether it is a thin or thick layer, my eyes always crease. So it kind of ruins my whole look. For maybe the first hour, it's not so bad but it goes downhill after that. The eyeshadow does pop more than without a white base.
