These napkins feel very stiff and scratchy. I’m not sure if after washing these, they will get softer. I also didn’t realize they are a linen-like material. I prefer cotton napkins. I do like the neutral colors so easy to pair with most table settings.
Oakes Dinner Napkins set of 4 (100% Cotton)
Received a set of 4 Shibori Dyed Oakes Dinner Napkins. I have used them on Sunday Dinner setting and a Casual luncheons. Very versatile on own, pair matching placemats or match with other table linens.

Very nice
These napkins were great once I washed them. Understandably, given the fabric, they will need a quick pressing but will be perfect for casual dining. I would definitely recommend these Oake Dye Natural Napkins.

Rough & Wrinkly
These 100% cotton dinner napkins by Oake are best suited for very casual dining and tablescapes unless you like to iron (no thank you!). They were wrinkly both before and after washing. In addition, the texture is very rough even after washing with softener. They are not stain resistant so I was careful not to use when serving red wine or tomato sauce. A positive is the neutral beige pattern is versatile. They coordinate well with solid china or everyday dishes. I may just iron once and use just “for show” as the rough texture is a show stopper for me to use with guests. I prefer a no-iron cotton/poly or rayon blend napkin for a nicer appearance and ease of care.
Horrible color, cheap fabric
I got the napkin set but I was very disappointed with the color and fabric. It is a very hard to combine color. And the fabric feels very cheap and you can see through. The finish looks very cheap as well
Utilitarian Napkins
These napkins are soft and absorbent. The Shibori design is a little more plain than I would have hoped for. But the neutral colors pair well with pretty much any place setting. They’re good for everyday use.

Coarse dinner napkins
Cotton napkins are natural looking but also seemed cheap in quality and generally unattractive; Would not use; They haf discoloration or stains on the fabric; Not soft to touch; would not use at the dinner table
Basic, Nothing Special, Napkins
These napkins are quite basic and would work fine for an outdoor patio setting. The neutral color would fit most simple place settings. The material is a bit on the wrinkly side, so they are definitely very casual type napkins - do not believe they could ever look crisp.
