Ruffles on the back are awkward

I love everything about this shirt...except the ruffles on the back which stick out awkwardly. The front ruffles are fine, the fit and length are great, and the fabric is a nice heavy denim. But I just can't get over the ruffles on the back.

Nothing wrong with it, just don’t care for the ruffle on the back. Would like better with the ruffle just on the front.

Rough material

Fit was good the material of the shirt was rough feeling. I returned because of that and I was worried it would shrink after washing.
