Rhinestones not secure

I bought these because they were kind of fun and different, like sweatpants with rhinestones. However, the rhinestones are not secure. They started falling off the first time I wore them for a couple of hours. I have worn them twice without washing and they have probably lost a dozen or more stones already, leaving the broken thread hanging off behind. I can't imagine what they'll be like after washing. Not at all worth how much they cost.
