The quality and design of the Oneida Stainless Steel Cabria flatware varies dramatically depending on where it was manufactured.
I ordered two sets of the same flatware one month apart, the first set I received was made in Vietnam. All of the utensils were symmetrical, and each utensil had a tapered end. The hammer-finish texture was as-pictured. Each utensil was medium weight. I liked it so much that I ordered a second set one month later using the same link.
The second set arrived in the same packaging with the same branding and the same product name on the box, but the utensils inside were made in Indonesia. This set had significantly less taper on the ends. The hammer-finish texture was messy and inconsistent from one utensil to the next. Two of the spoons were asymmetrical and came to a slight, off-center point. Most shockingly the second set of utensils was much heavier than the first, despite claiming to be made from the same material.
This product needs quality control.
