This smells sooo strong; my nose and eyes were running and burning the whole time. I saw many people say that in the reviews, but I LOVE the ginger scent and thought "how bad can it be?"... WELL...let me tell you. BAD. And it's on your face, so you literally can not get away from it! I finally got it on my face and turned a fan on... I didn't die, so there's THAT, I guess. Good AFTER results.

yes, it does have a strong scent the first few seconds. must apply thickly to help peel easier. It feels like a microdermabrasion treatment; something I already do, but this feels less harmful. My skin immediately seemed brighter and smoother. For me. only con is the scent.

Cons: not many uses from one tube, strong alcohol scent. Pros: cleans out pores effectively and minimizes pores. An in home facial treatment for sure. Very happy with this product.

Tried this mask for the first time last night. My skin has started to be more dry and flaky as menopause has set in, so I have been on a search for cleansers, moisturizers, and masks that might help with this problem. This mask was a bit tricky to put on as it is quite thick and somewhat sticky, but once it was on it dried quickly and was easy to peel off. It didn't come off in a solid sheet, but a thicker application may help with that. In the end, most peeled off and there was very little to rinse away. My skin was left feeling incredibly soft and smooth. I followed up with the Original Skin Renewal Serum and woke to the softest skin I've seen in a while. Very happy with this purchase!

Don’t buy!
This is one of the worst products I’ve ever bought Smells like pure alcohol so can’t breathe in the first few minutes until smell settles Eyes hurt too It is just awful It’s so sticky too so with the chemical smell it’s just like putting glue all over your face
The best peel of mask I ever used
This mask is definitely suited for me as I have an combination skin type. I can only recommend the use of a thick layer and wait to dry and remove the ''old skin''. After this mask I definitely feel like I have a new face. Cheers and thanks Origins !

Has alcohol but it does it's job
This mask is probably more suitable for those with oily or combination skin with clogged pores. It has alcohol which I agree can be uncomfortable initially but the mask does it's job once peeled. Only thing is you need to apply a thick enough layer (which obviously takes a lightly longer time to dry) else it may not be effective enough to remove the oil seeds or grime from the pores.

sensitive skin type should avoid this...
I am not even sensitive skin type, but this mask made my cheek and nose areas quite red, not to mention the burning feels. No matter how good the effect may be, I doubt it is safe for the skin. So avoid it.
