Great item
What a great item, especially for the price. I also have an expensive brand in stainless steel, and can't see any difference. I've had it over a year. Doing great. Love the colors and that I can see inside. Can't immerse in water but easy to clean. Add a few drops of soap, use sponge, and rinse out. We have well water, so once a week I boil with 1:1 vinegar/water and it descales.

Beautiful and Easy to Use
I love this Ovente electric kettle! I like the way the lid operates - press a button, and the lid stays up. While the water is heating, a beautiful ring of blue lights turn on. The water boils very quickly. There is an automatic shut-off - the blue lights turn off. It is easy to clean - I recommend using a cloth or paper towel with a small amount of vinegar on it (I use a spray bottle with vinegar inside). Wipe the vinegar on the bottom and sides, then rinse. Easy-peasy!
