Heating unit not so great

The heating unit on the griddle doesn’t work. Sometimes it heats up sometimes it doesn’t.

Nice griddle

Thought it would be a little bit bigger, but it works great. The only thing is that the temperature control knob has numbers 1 thru 5 instead of temperature in degrees (100° thru 400°).
