Silicone not food resistant

Unfortunately, I am disappointed in the product. The lemon has permanently adhered to the silicone, with no ability to remove it. I would not recommend the product for food storage

Works very well!

I stored an onion & lemon & I could not smell either of them outside of the container. I like that the container expands to fit the size you are storing.

Doesn’t Completely Close

I was hoping that these would erplace the plastic bags that we had been using for onions and citrus items, but they are not that useful. They work ok for small pieces, but don’t completely close, so juice can leak, and citrus juice can mar plastic fridge drawers. The onion one was very hard to close with an onion that was large.

Not as good as I had hoped

I have loved all of the OXO products I have purchased over the years, which is A LOT, except these. I am trying to limit my use of disposable zip bags and thought these would be the perfect solution since I regularly need to keep half lemons and red onions. The problem for me is neither of these savers seal completely. Both allow air in, so my left-over lemon was dry when I went to use it, and the smell of the onion stunk up my whole fridge. I even cut the onion smaller in an effort to get it to properly seal and it still didn't work.

Don't waste your $

Awful - the top doesn't stayed sealed exposing the fruit or veggie that one is storing

Works ok. Could be better.

I don’t like that the silicone part comes away from the rest of the product so easily. Takes a couple tries to get it to work.

Simple Design, Works Flawlessly

I have used this everyday for a few weeks now, and it saves quite a few plastic bags, and plastic wrap. It has cleaned up just fine in the dishwasher. It is great to have every time I only need half a lemon, or half an onion.
