Gets hot and easy to pour

This tea kettle is not as heavy as you would expect. It has a very easy to lift handle and it works great on my gas stove. It makes the water super hot Which is great for those days when I am having a hot cup of tea. Its easy to clean and matches great in any color kitchen.

Design is good but functionality is lacking

This is an easy to use and easy to pour tea kettle. It does perform with a loud whistle so you know when the liquid is hot and ready to be used. I also like the design of the kettle and am fine leaving it on my stovetop when not in use as a decoration. I don’t like the location of the handle as it does get warm an can get hard to hold onto. Another thing is that the handle is directly over the lid so removing the cover can be hard to do at times too. The design is nice but the functionality could be better.

Best kettle

The Oxo Brew uplift tea Kettle is the best kettle i have had. Super easy to handle the kettle. It heats the water fast. The sound is not too loud. I enjoy it daily.

Good starter kettle

I had this kettle for quite a bit, it’s definitely a sturdy one and good for regular use. I will say because I live somewhere with hard water that there was a calcium build up and it was VERY difficult to clean.

Not the best

Good capacity. Decently durable. Okay saftey features. Good temperature control. Cool design. Not good for camping and rust over time. Handle seems to lose its grip after time as well.
