no not at all sfety because it doesn’t stick much on my baby’s table it gets removed from the table easy the stick is not durable it mives alot .. the patle is durable is big you can clean easy wash it easy it is portable .. but not too safety

My two year old grandson cannot get his plate off the table.. My daughter-in-law can actually enjoy a meal with her family without having to stop, clean up a mess, then refill a sweet toddlers plate. We love the product,Damon is 22 months old,the youngest of 9 grandkids and is the first to figure out how to get his suction plates & bowls unstuck 30 seconds after they placed in front of him.He puts a hand on each side and spins them off their suction like a DJ spinning records.

It sticks firmly to smooth surfaces, which is good; but if it is set on a surface containing crumbs of food etc., it will pick these up and no longer stick. But it works again after being washed off. It comes with a circle of plastic film on its bottom, which nicely keeps it from sticking to places where it is stored etc.; but being colorless and transparent, the circle is easily lost; it would be better if it were colored. It was recommended by a doctor for use by my disabled wife (this is her husband filling out the questionnaire in her name), but it is designed for little children, and much too small for an adult's meal. But we are using it for her snacks and desserts.

Oxo always come through! This is the third suction plate/bowl I've gotten from theirs and the quality and suction is consistent across the board. I do wish that they used metal or bamboo instead of plastic, but the bamboo options I looked at from other brands all seem to have a short lifespan by either cracking apart or losing suction. I haven't had that issue with the oxo products. Aside from that, sometimes it seems like my babies food stains the plastic while I'm washing but by the next morning the stains seem to just disappear. I hand wash (because dishwashers aren't as clean as people think) so I can't say if they hold up well in the dishwasher or not. But I can say that I will continue to rely on OXO Tot for baby and kitchen goodies.

Very convenient and helps my baby to not make a bigger mess
