An Instant New York Times Bestseller From the woman who is credited for launching what we know as the celebrity focused, "brand" driven, social media obsessed popular culture of today, comes an honest and surprising memoir that reckons with that truth, and shows that there is so much more to Paris Hilton than you might believe. I was born in New York City on February 17, 1981, three days after Valentine's Day. From the time I was a toddler, my brain skipped and flickered with the chemical imbalance of ADHD. Sometimes it was too much. I'm not bragging or complaining about it, just telling you- This is my brain. It has a lot to do with how this whole book thing is going to play out, because I love run-on sentences-and dashes. And sentence fragments. I'm probably going to jump around a lot while I tell the story. I came of age during the most turbulent pop culture period ever. The character I played-part Lucy, part Marilyn-was my steel-plated armor. People loved her. Or they loved to hate her, which was just as marketable. I leaned into that character, my ticket to financial freedom and a safe place to hide. I made sure I never had a quiet moment to figure out who I was without her. I was afraid of that moment because I didn't know what I'd find. I wrote this book in an effort to understand.

Average Book

I love Paris, the Icon, her story etc. This book was good/interesting for the first 150 pages maybe. From there it really got boring for me. I tried to continue reading it and as far as I could get was 235. Again, love Paris, the book just wasn’t for me.

Doing a video series on Paris' Memoir

I purchased Paris' book at the Barnes and Noble in Oahu. The cover caught my attention, as Paris is simply beautiful. After reading her full memoir I decided to create a vlog series about her book highlighting some temptations and issues that she had growing up. ADHD, school PJ days, being taken advantage of by men and pressured by them were are great things that parents need to be aware of when raising a girl. She has incredible insight and is very transparent.

Paris: The Memoir a must read!

I started reading this yesterday and finished today. Paris is so raw and emotional. Opening her heart and soul into the world. I just wanted to hug her and tell her it will be alright. She is such a strong woman. Thank you for sharing your story!

Well written, gutcwrenching , new respect

Always loved Paris in The simple life but her story is often painful to hear what she endured. I just wanted to yell..run to a hospital and tell a nurse..they will protect you! A great lesson in perseverance and overcoming terrible circumstances . Great read!

Loves it ♥️♥️

Wow ! I have followed Paris from a very young age when I used to watch the simple life and then moving on to Paris Hilton’s bff and watching literally anything with her in ! And after reading her new book and watching her most recent things passing laws and sharing her story and not only that but what she has achieved after going through so much just shows you get out what you put in and Paris has always been so positive until she shared her story none of us knew what she had been through but she was fighting so many demons but still absolutely smashed life you go girl !!! Keep Sliving Paris ! We love youuu ! ♥️
