This double lounge chair looks great at first glance, but it falls short in a few key areas. Yes, the dimensions were clearly listed, but you'd expect something labeled as a double lounge chair to fit two average adults comfortably. I'm a size medium and 5'6", and I can't even place my hands at my sides when sitting. My husband is 6' and quite slim, and even he found it cramped. Definitely not standard width. Another downside: there's no real way to secure the cushions. While the backrest cushion has a sleeve that fits over the top, the seat cushions have anchor points... but nowhere to anchor them. We read through the instructions multiple times—nothing. And my husband, who worked in construction for 20 years and is excellent at solving problems (he was a supervisor for a reason), couldn’t figure it out. Assembly took over two hours and, let’s just say, it wasn’t a peaceful experience. On the plus side, the frame itself is solid and feels durable. But the cushions are very firm—bordering on uncomfortable—and at this price point, it just doesn’t feel like a good value. Honestly, if we thought we could take it apart and return it easily, we would. Unfortunately, we're stuck with it. My advice: save your money and invest in a wider, more comfortable lounge with better cushion support and design. Once the fabric wears out, replacing it may be a hassle because of the unusual cushion size.
