Very Flakey

I used this gel on my hair to try to get a slick ponytail and it flaked so bad I had to wash my hair the next day. Thinking it was just my hair, I used it on my child's hair and the same thing happened.

Strong frizz free curls.

The Pattern Strong Hold Gel is much thicker and has a clear consistency compared to the Pattern Curl Gel. Keeps curls more defined and less frizz. Also good for slick back styles. Smells good and doesn't cause flaking. I use it on my wash and go styles along with the Pattern Curl Mousse.

The gel that stays

The gel helps me maintain a slick back that lasts the hours while maintains my moisture. This is a flake free gel that allows me to restyle without having to immediately wash my hair. I am on my 6th tube!

Finally found right products in product line

I have finally found the right products within the pattern product line. I use a stronghold gel on my wet hair after shampooing and conditioning, and I use the styling cream in the mornings in between shampoos. There are a couple of products that I purchased that are not working for my hair and plan on returning them, but the two that I spoke of above are perfect for my curly hair and dealing with the humidity of San Diego and of my hair texture changing as I grey.

Works well without drying out hair

This gel gives nice hold and moisturized look to my hair. It’s my go to for creating pinned back styles with my hair. It has a soft, buildable application with no flakiness at all.
