Rating the Tie Bar

I rated it a 3 not because of the quality of the item per se; rather, the actual product itself. I have always preferred tie pins over a tie bar since I started wearing suits. The problem was tie pins are no longer available on the market so I had to settle for the bar given I had little time left to attend to attend a banquet. The saleswoman was extremely professional, friendly and patient, by the way.

Weak spring

I like the look of the clip. However, the spring needs to be a little tighter to prevent the clip from sliding especially with ties that are not as thick. It is over-priced for what you get.
