Introduced in the 1960s, the 714 is a folding adaptation of the famous 649, and is perhaps the first-ever collapsible frame. Designed for comfort and convenience, the temple hinge folds from the outside in, rather than top to bottom. The Supreme Arrow, Persol's distinctive mark, is the functional element enclosing this hinge. Steve McQueen's signature emblazons the inside of the temple arm to complete the look that's still among the most popular sunglasses today. This particular color features the return of the blue gradient lens--the favorite of Steve McQueen.

Steve McQueen Limited Edition on sale??????

Guys - I almost fell off my seat when I came across the 714sm on sale for 50% off at Macy*s. I thought there was some mistake but when I received them I can confirm these are indeed the limited edition Steve McQueen Persol sunglasses. So if you have been in the market for the 714sm's this sale is unheard of. BUY THEM BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.
