The service is what we wanted the only complaints we have is we ordered service for 16 so it came in 4 boxes (service for four in each box) three of the boxes had a broken bowl in them.

Scratch Easily
I love the look of these dishes but they scratch much too easily. Nothing removes the scratches, not baking soda or BarKeeper’s friend. Whether it’s a butter knife, steak knife or fork scrambling eggs, the dishes are completely scratched.

Feeling Sad........
First, the positives: These matte dishes and bowls are the perfect size and weight, rustic look, and color. All of these things were just what I wanted. Now, for the negative: Only one negative BUT it's an important one. Upon receipt of this dinnerware, I washed the dishes by hand. Virtually every bowl and plate revealed "veining" while wet leading me to believe they might not be properly glazed/sealed allowing water between the glaze and clay. While the glaze is food safe, I have no idea if the clay is and since matter from leaks could potentially leach into food, this could present a health hazard. (Not to mention, who wants new dishes that look cracked when they're wet?) Sadly they must be returned.

Very nice weight and stylish color that coordinates with most designs.

Scratches
I was so disappointed. I really wanted to love these dishes. The first time we used them, they scratched. I was unable to remove the scratches. Now they are just beige plates with scratches.
