Wished the 49B2U6900CH/27 Model Is For Sale...
Wished the 49B2U6900CH/27 model is for sale in the US! While this model, 499P9H/27 is okay, I needed the additional USB ports, better webcam with the busy light feature, and the superior KVM switch utilizing the CLRL keyboard button the 49B2U6900CH/27 model offers.

This makes my office work
I wanted to improve my work flow and deal easily with all the complicated joining up of documents, emails, spreadsheets presentations and on-line meetings that make up the basis of doing my job for my Clients. Amazingly this does exactly that. It is a great product.

a 4 year journey with the 499P9H Brilliance.
This Display was a gift from my wife. It has been incredible and incredibly frustrating in equal measure. The display and clarity is very pleasing and the features such as blue light and dual inputs are useful. The refresh rate (using display port) is 70Hz and is more than adequate for my needs. Sound is on the tinny side but it is sufficient with enough volume and detail. The beautifully made stand is also very large and takes up a lot of desk space. You need to get a strong monitor arm mount to really experience the benefits. The integrated web camera died after a few months. It works for a few minutes and then goes blank. This would have been brilliant for Windows Hello. I didn't receive a remote control. This didn't bother me until I tried to use the KVM ... very frustrating. The software was a bit underwhelming - if you are a windows user try power tools - the fancy zones is wonderfully configurable and aids workflow immensely But for all the faults I still would not go back to 2 screens.

Huge and very nice!
I use a KVM with multiple systems. I wanted the screen area of two monitors without the hassle of dealing with two monitors. After a lot of research I settled on this monitor. I run it at 5120x1440 with DisplayPort. It is excellent! The only challenge is when sharing the screen during meetings: I have to share individual windows versus the entire screen because collapsing the entire screen down makes everything too small for an audience to see. It's less convenient to share a window, stop sharing and share another window during meetings, but the overall convenience of having a giant display outweighs it!

It a good monitor for the price
I love the features of the built-in camera and speakers. When watching videos at the loading, I find that the footage is pixilated, but the monitor corrects itself in 5 seconds. I can live with that.

Excellent monitor, great resolution, built-in cam
I have been using the monitor for several weeks connected via a USB-C to a Microsoft Surface Studio notebook. The USB-C powers and charges the notebook! Resolution is set 5120x1440 on the 49" screen and 2400x1600 on the notebook. I installed Microsoft's PowerToys app and am using Fancy Zones to divide the 49" screen into three logical partitions and the notebook into two. Color and resolution on the Philips is very good. I also am using the Philips' built-in camera for Zoom and Team meetings. It works very well. I have connected a Jabra speaker/mike via one of the screen's 3 USB-B ports (as the built-in mike could be better. The built-in speakers are fine. I highly recommend this monitor.

Avoid this monitor and Philips
Screen has darkened area in the middle which has made it close to unusable. This is clearly a common issue as there are many others posting online about this. My monitor is out of warranty and the cost and hassle to even have it looked at makes me need to tell everyone to avoid this monitor and this company. You can't find details of spare or replacement parts anywhere to even try to fix the issue yourself.
