Take it or leave it
Been using this product for a month now and havent really noticed any difference in my skin. I do like how it doesnt leave me feeling like caked with lotion, light feeling. No real scent either.

Hydrating cream
I was super excited to try this cream. My skin can be super sensitive when it comes to products. Pros: I liked how the cream was hydrating and easily absorbed into my skin. The scent was really mild which is important if you are sensitive. Cons: being a cream it’s a little on the thicker side. I broke out using this sadly. I wouldn’t recommend it for warmer weather unless you are wearing it as a night cream. I think it will be perfect in the winter months when your skin needs that extra hydration.

Luxurious Little Skincare Treat
I’m not gonna lie I wasn’t so hopeful about this product when I first started to use it because it did pill in conjunction with my other products, but after using it for a while, I fell in love with a thickness and the luxuriousness of the formula. The smell is not too intense and it goes well with a lot of products. Just make sure that everything on the skin is dry but the packaging is beautiful. I love the glass. It just gives an elevated experience to my skin care routine. On top of that, my face feels super moisturized after so I’d say it’s extremely effective.

Great for sensitive skin with quick benefits
Philosophy’s Hope In a Jar is by far one of the best creams that I have used on my face and neck. I absolutely adore its presentation in a classic style glass jar that is thick and sturdy with a very simple design that is not only elegant but sophisticated. The cream itself is a blessing in disguise as it has a cloud like texture that is thick but spreads very smoothly on your skin as well as absorbs quickly into your skin without leaving a greasy residue in its wake. I am very impressed with its abilities to reduce redness, visibly clear rough textures and how much it hydrates your skin which almost feels instantaneous. The cream doesn’t have any scent at all which is a huge plus for me as I have sensitive skin and I don’t like having harsh scents in creams for my face. It is also vegan, cruelty free and made with clean ingredients. It’s even great under makeup with no buildup as I use it daily (morning and night) and wear makeup daily after the morning application. I am very impressed with this barrier cream and will most definitely be purchasing again along with the rest of the barrier protection regimen. Highly recommend!

Soothing
This cream feels really soothing. The texture is cloud-like and absorbs fairly well, it feels rich but not heavy or greasy. If needed I am able to layer, especially when using it at night. Overall feels comforting, protective, and kind to the skin barrier.

I Am Sold on Barrier Cream
Barrier cream is very light and blends easily into my skin. Since using this product my skin feels much softer. I am prone to breakouts periodically and episodes of Rosacea—since using barrier cream I have had no problems. Just ordered my next jar.

Hydrating
This moisturizer has a thick consistency that works really well for my dry skin. The only downside is that it feels a bit heavy and slightly sticky, though never greasy. I also appreciate that it doesn’t have a noticeable scent. I like to apply it at night after my serums, and it doesn’t cause any pilling. By morning, my skin feels soft, smooth, and deeply hydrated.
