Good for skin condition, but stains brown!

I've been using this Vitamin C with Hope Is Not Enough Serum for over a month now and have noticed brown staining on my face in my eyebrows, at my hairline and under my chin, where I tend to stop the application. After doing some research, I've discovered that this is the normal result of the oxidation of vitamin C with exposure to air! It turns into erythrulose, one of the ingredients in self-tanners! If you want a combo self-tanning product, go ahead and use this product. But since you can't see where you're applying this, as you can with a self-tanner, you're at risk of streaking. I'm done with this product for now - I hate my skin having these brown stains, as they look either like I haven't washed my face or I have strange age spots!

    Must have

I have used this product before. It is a must have for any serious beauty routine. I use it with a ski oil or balm under my moisturizer. Smoothed deep lines and keeps my skin glowing.

    Melasma disappeared

I normally use the water cream and retinol at night. Never could really tell if they made a difference, but I have decent skin. I am 1 year postpartum and have had melasma under my eyes ever since. Kinda bothered me, but kinda didn’t. Decided to add in the c booster to my water cream every morning. Within 2 weeks, Melasma was gone! I’ll stick with it for sure!

    Love philosophy boosters

I see a huge difference the next morning every time I use this product. I use along the other two boosters mixed with when hope is not enough. I use it a night time, every other night and wow!!! What a game changer this is on my night time regimen.

    Vitamin C Powder

So far, I like it. Not sure what results I seen, though I feel like this is a much better option that anything over the counter/Target ish. My Derm said to use Vit C in the morning and retinol at night. I am pretty critical of my skin and may be looking for a miracle. I am going to keep using it!

Best vitamin C product I've tried

First, I've tried many vitamin C serums. It's hard for me to find a good C product that gives results, doesn't break me out, and makes me want to use for more than 4-5 months. Even brands like Drunk Elephant, Sunday Riley, Ole Henriksen- there was always something that made me stop. This Philosophy C Booster is amazing stuff. It's actually a powder that comes in a little glass bottle. There's a plastic spoon in the packaging so getting product out is fairly simple. You can use anywhere from half a scoop to a full scoop. It's designed to be mixed in to products like a serum or moisturizer. I personally mix it into my Cosrx Snail Mucin serum. I was amazed how much my skin loved this product. Usually C products take a while to brighten. This stuff vegan working really quick. My skin showed changes within a few days. My skin looks beautiful and healthy when I apply it and it's slowly brightened and evened out my skin tone. It does leave your skin a tad sticky like most C serums. This is the first vitamin C product I'll be repurchasing in years. This product deserves so much hype. It's legit great.
