Does Not Match Size Chart, Cannot Return

I planned to wear this dress to a wedding and have had sizing issues with Unique Vintage before, so I was extremely careful to follow the provided size chart and took my fresh measurements to make sure it was the correct size. It fits horrendously. This item is also obviously not patterned for a plus sized body. The middle section is too long to sit nicely at a natural waist, the bust section hits about midway down my bust, and if you pull it down to sit where the neckline should, the shoulder section gaps and sits terribly. This is not worth the price tag and it's clear that UV is moving to fast fashion practices and keeping their slow fashion price tags. This dress isn't even lined and the system won't even let me return the dress to get a refund, so I'm stuck with a poorly constructed dress that you can't pay me to wear

Don't trust the size chart, this fits so weird

I think this was my last straw with Unique Vintage. The sewing quality and actual structure of the garments has just tanked over the last couple of years and the size charts are basically useless. I double checked measurements on myself against the chart to make sure I wouldn't be disappointed again and yet. This barely fit with a gaping chest (and I'm sitting with an H chest so I can only imagine how huge this is on less endowed people) and the seams are in extremely unflattering positions. Makes it seem like it was sewn from a veeeery sized up straight size pattern, so of course it fits terribly. This was going to be a splurge investment for my closet to wear to a wedding, but now it just feels like a waste of money because it looks so bad.

Green and mean

The UV made dresses are my favorite. They always fit how they are supposed to. This velvet fabric is gorgeous and feels SO soft. It will look best with a petticoat either white or black. It flows beautifully when on.
