Not made for plus size thighs

I am petite with a pronounced pear shape, so I accepted my lower half would need some plus size hosery. My thighs clock in at 23inch circumference at the highest point. Although I won't be pulling it up that far, the part where this should sit measures 22.25inches and these make my thigh like a stuffed sausage casing spilling over. The band is so taut that you wouldn't need the garter, which is what I bought it for. Another plus size from Dreamgirl (fishnet with lace top) was perfect so I guess it's hit or miss. I'll be keeping because it was only 3dollars. I'm guessing if your thigh measures 20inch or less this may work for you.
