Pretty plump lips
I find this to be effective for what I am looking for. I don’t like the fake Botox look of huge lips, and this does not do that. I use this with the PMD kiss tool to plump up my lips a bit, but most importantly to avoid getting lip wrinkles as I age.

I have numerous PMD products that I love but this lip serum just isn't for me. I already have very dry lips and live in the desert and this product made them very dry. It did fill out or plump out all the dry creasing on the surface of lips but due to it being so drying for my lip skin, I cannot use it. As for consistency, it is like a very thick very dry paste with sand particles. If you purchase this and don't have the kit, use your finger to apply and rub it into your lips and the white color won't remain, then with your finger just wipe off any remaining sand particles. Just be aware that if you have dry lips this will dry them out more and any benefit from the Hydrating Lip Mask is reduced.

More of an exfoliated lip serum
It makes your lips look white. You can’t leave the house with it on. Not what I expected. Haven’t seen any big improvement but have been limited on its use.

The PMD Smart Lip Plumping Serum is different from other plumping glosses, lipsticks and such. Ours is made to be massaged into the lip tissue. By doing this, the "white" of the product will be in the lip tissue and trigger the lips to brighten and deepen in color as well as provide some plumping. This is not meant to be left on the lips waiting for it to absorb. Try, instead, to massage it into the lip tissue. At the most basic this is a plumping product for the lips that provides temporary, but quick results.

Stung
I used the lip serum once. It stung. I have used other lip plumping serums and had to go to the doctor because evidently I am allergic to them. Therefore, I cannot use this product.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the PMD Lip Serum. We are so sorry that you are unable to use, not just the PMD Lip Serum but lip serums in general due to sensitivity and allergies. These type of products do help with plumping because the ingredients trigger blood to rush to the surface of the skin that the serum is on, but for some, like yourself, can sometimes cause sensitivity.
Not sure why it is called a serum. It feels very gritty on my lips. Not smooth like a serum.
