Bad earring backs

The earrings are nice, but the earring backs literally got disintegrated after two weeks of wearing. One morning I woke up and found that I lost one earring while sleeping. I found it without the earring back, later found it (in two pieces). While removing the other earring, its broke into two pieces in my hands. The same two pieces as the other one. Terrible design. Now I am using earring backs from the other pair. I got lucky that I did not lose the earrings. Not recommending it.
