My husband loves these trunks but they are unlined. There is no mesh lining so he either has to wear a jock or briefs, both of which mean he might as well be wearing a pair of shorts! Not sure if we are keeping or returning yet. The 3 stars is the overall rating. 5 starts for color, pattern, quality and fit. Had these been fully lined (like most true swimming trunks) they would have earned all 5 stars.
