Decent Purchase

Bought this for a friend and the brim kept flipping up. But he was able to look past it. It bothered me though so I am giving it 4 stars. Other than that it's very fresh cap.

Surprising

I'm not normally a "hat wearer", especially in the winter. I had occasion to go on an outdoor tour in 15 degree weather and I purchased this hat, looking for warmth. This hat did the trick. Not only was it warm but I liked the way it looked on me. I hadn't expected that. As the winter temperatures have continued to be in the teens I have continued wearing the hat and have gotten compliments on it. Glad I bought it and will continue to wear it proudly

The hat is very soft,

I was a little surprised that the hat is so floppy and it looks like its now quite right. But my hubby likes it and wore it. Material is wool. It is hard to find these hats which is why he is keeping it. I wouldn't buy it again because the shape kind of bulges on the sides.
