Nice Cardigan

I ordered the Polo Ralph Lauren Women's Cable-Knit Cotton Crewneck Cardigan Sweater in the dark green. It's a very pretty color. I ordered a Size Large, due to the description that it was slim fit and reviews. For reference I'm 5'2.5" tall, 36C, 122 lb. It fits, except the sleeves are overlong. It was thinner than I'd expected, given the price. I was underwhelmed. It is very overpriced for what you get, even at 25% off. It is going back.

My Uniform

I have this sweater in multiple colors and I love each and every one of them. Finally this year Ralph Lauren made them in black, forest green, bright saturated red, and purple. I bought them all, and I have many more. I am missing this style in a true royal blue and would get that in a heartbeat. The fit is terrific. True to size and they hit right at the top of the hipbone, making them versatile to style. Why do I love these? They simply look good with so many things: jeans, tailored trousers, skirts of any length, maxi dresses, the list goes on. The fact that they're cotton makes them perfect for most of the year. I've even been known to wear one under a warm coat in winter, because so many places are overheated indoors. And the style looks perfect with anything from a tank top to a turtleneck underneath. Or nothing underneath at all. For sizing I'm 5'5" hourglass and typically wear a 12, and prefer this in a size L. I can wear a M in this, but like just a bit more room.

Maidstone blue

I received completely a different cardigan with a wrong size. Although label states M (which I ordered), the label on the back of the cardigan is LG (LARGE), color is classic blue instead of Mainstone blue. Cheap and possibly worn by someone earlier item. I ordered a new cardigan again hoping Macy's won't make a mistake anymore. Look at the attached photos and the original cardigan, it's absolutely a different order and the quality is so poor that Raulph Lauren would never sell.

Lovely

These are investment pieces, fabric and workmanship is quality. The blue, is not as shown, it looks to have a touch of lavender in it. But in person it has a bit of green, making it more of a denim and a bit of a slightly faded soft color. I was expecting a vibrant saturated blue with some lavender in it.
