Cheaply made.

This set looks really cheaply made. Very thin and too light to last long.

I loved the size of these bowls - perfect for large salads or pasta. They are a heavy grade of porcelain that is microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe. The bowls are hefty and the neutral color allows them to work well with existing place settings. The bowls have a classic design and are an exquisite addition to the kitchen. I highly recommend based on the craftsmanship and versatility of the bowls.

Love this set!

I LOVE this place setting, but what is even better is, my husband loves it too! It’s difficult to find durable dish wear that isn’t heavy and bulky. The plates are of nice weight with a slight bowling effect that won’t let food slip right off. The bowl is deep and easy to hold on the bottom with one hand (perfect for soup or ice cream). The stack great so when they’re displayed on the table it looks beautiful and chic. The porcelain is glazed black, but is more of a dark charcoal and is a great mix between matte and gloss. There’s a bit of fine texture in the finish so it isn’t just a boring flat look. Super functional for use, oven, microwave and dishwasher safe too. I would consider getting another 4 place setting for entertaining too. Overall, I’m impressed with the quality, design and esthetic!

Dress them up or down.

I am an empty nester now looking to upgrade some of my service ware. I am enjoying using my Seasons black 2 bowl set. I found them to be beautiful and durable. I like that I can " dress" them up or down. They microwave well and have done well in the dishwasher. If you are looking for a set of bowls that can used in a somewhat formal situation or a casual situation that are durable I would recommend these bowls.

Let me start by saying these bowls are beautiful! I love simple and elegant pottery pieces and needed something to go with my dish set I recently purchased. I have a basic farmhouse style white dish set and needed a complimentary serving bowl set for dinners. My kitchen is black and white and natural wood and these porcelain bowls in black go beautifully. They are the perfect size for serving side dishes at the table or for eating big bowls of salad. The romaine lettuce in our greenhouse has gone crazy and our normal day to day bowls aren’t big enough for a hardy salad. The biggest bonus is I can put these in the dishwasher so no hand washing. Perfect.

Great Product!

This is a beautiful serveware set -the black finish goes with all decor. It is has an easy to clean surface that is dishwasher safe. It can be placed in the oven or microwave for easy heating or keeping food warm.

My new wonderful Porland Bowls

i received the Porland two bowl set and was impressed with the style and versatility of the bowls. My husband immediately said one was his for his breakfast. He has the same meal every morning and our old bowls just aren't large enough for his eggs and vegetable scramble. We also have used them for dinner. They are great for salads and soup. I can only imagine having our children over for our family dinners. They will be perfect for passing pasta dishes or my "famous" taco salad. I have already taken photos of the bowls and showed my sister and children. We just recently purchased a black set of everyday dishes. These bowls add a bit of glamour to our table. I love the modern style. Thank you for this wonderful product. This will be USED. I have also checked out Porland online. I plan on additional purchases for Christmas and other future events. It will make gift giving fun.

I’m collecting the Seasons Collection black dinnerware set. The black is so elegant. I received the 3 piece dinner set as a gift. These porcelain pieces are so well made. It’s so easy as it goes from oven to microwave to dishwasher. That saves me from using/washing so many extra dishes. I love this product!
