They last. We (more like I) am the the one who has broken two plates but no plate could have survived. we have 6 kids aged 10-15, and use these for every meal. I’m surprised at how well they’ve held up. I came back to purchase and store a back up set. I am surprised to see any bad reviews. see

Very fragile and breakable for plates. Don't waste your time and money. I bought them to warm up food in the oven and it says dishwasher safe . Well they cracked in the dishwasher . The flower designed ones are better.

I purchased these Harmony dinnerware sets in Jan 2020, and been using them along with Botanic Garden Series. only used about 4-5 months and one dish was broken by itself in my kitchen cabinet when I was about to take dish out to prepare breakfast, I never dropped dishes and it cracked and broked. unbelievable!!! therefore, started to check every single dinnerware very thoroughly and found few cracked dishes;;; I was pretty upset since I bought these because they are not cheap dishes and famous for durability and toughness for daily use;;; I am so upset;;;; feels like wasted money and regret purchasing them in sets!!! what a waste of money
