Funny chemical smell. With both this lipstick and the mini one I received as a GWP there is a slightly unpleasant chemical smell. The texture is nice, and the color is beautiful. It surprised me that they both smelled like that. Kind of like my grandmothers old lipsticks, but not as comforting. I wonder if they are slightly expired or if all lipsticks from this brand have this smell. I’ve heard of legendary Pat McGrath so I’m rather shocked, but will give the brand another chance.

Lovely color
This is a beautiful, soft pink matte lipstick that stays put all day regardless of eating, drinking, and mask wearing. I'm a fan of the MatteTrance lipsticks because I know once I apply the lipstick in the morning, I won't need to reapply until late afternoon only if l've been indulging in lots of daytime snacking and need to freshen up my look. This shade of pink is not your common "bubble gum pink" but has a more refined, "mature" look to it making it more universal. Overall, I highly recommend this lipstick if you're looking to splurge on a matte lip that won't require multiple applications throughout the day.

Great lipstick! 💄
The presentation of this lipstick is very luxurious. I loved the color and how it looks on me. In my opinion it doesn’t have a smell or taste. It’s very smooth on the lips, hydrating and creamy. It is transferable and you obviously need to re apply after a meal but that’s no issue for me. I actually think it’s better to do a clean application after a meal or drinks. Overall 20/10! 💖

Stunning product
Packaging is stunning and sleek. The color was perfection. I rarely wear lipstick to work and I got so many compliments. I felt confident wearing it. It glides on smoothly and doesn’t really have a scent.

Perfect Natural Shade
I’ve been looking for an enhanced natural lip color and this is the one! I am cool tone and fair skinned. This is slightly darker than my natural lip color. The matte sheen does fade over time but the stain keeps on going. Perfect for every day at the office or to brighten up your weekend look. Formula is light and creamy. Will definitely be on the hunt for more shades. This product was received in exchange for my honest review.

What’s not to love about Pat McGrath Labs?
I love this brand but I have never tried the lipstick. The color is a little light for me but I have been playing around with liners and mixing with other colors so it will work well for summer. For a matte lipstick it isn’t drying at all like most matte lipsticks have a tendency to be. Can’t wait to try other colors in this line!

Good color
The color and texture are nice. It’s a muted mauve almost. No scent. Only complaint is that it doesn’t dry so it smears a lot. A lot of product for the price.
