Truly waterproof!

This is truly waterproof. It prevented a major spill from going through to my mattress and ruining it. It is also very soft and comfortable under my sheets. It did not notice any crinkling noise that others mentioned.

Great price when purchased on sale. Really nice waterproof mattress cover. Makes no paper sound from the waterproof material. Put it on my guestroom bed. I like my company to sleep well when they’re visiting.

Bunches up uncomfortably

I purchased this waterproof cooling mattress protector (with its favorable reviews) to replace an old quilt top one whose underside was ripping after several washings over the years. I was hopeful that this one would be higher quality, last much longer, and meet my needs. This one came nicely packaged, and looked to be of more durable material than the old one. It washed well too (cold/ delicate). But it bunches up badly under the sheets when sleeping on it! Have tried several times to straighten it out and readjust the elastic sides to get it to stay in place, but they don’t hold it flat, so it just stays bunched up. Mattress is 13” deep, only a couple years old and is not sagging. Perhaps this mattress pad fits deeper mattresses better? Am actually looking to replace it (after only a couple months!) with a different brand mattress pad, because it’s too uncomfortable to sleep on the bunched up material. Disappointed, and a waste of money.

I like to test out my mattress covers before putting them up so I did and this cover failed. The water when straight through the mattress cover. Do not recommend!
