Box Spring cover very brittle & tears easily
The mattress cover works great, it is a little loose though. The box spring cover is very brittle and tears very easily, which makes the bottom defective for bed bugs. I told Protect-A-Bed and they said there was nothing they could do and were ignorant on the phone. I hope the new company Hollander Sleep and their products are better.

I would buy this product again, without hesitation
for me.. awesome.... I had it before for 5 years....I was changing to new mattresses, new sheets, new pillows (charcoal bamboo) pillowcases, duvet and duvet cover... I wanted everything new. Having been satisfied with the product I gave my protect-a-bed to a friend, and I know this one wont let me down as I have bad allergies. I trust it!!!!

This was a TWO-PIECE mattress protector for a TWO-PIECE (split) mattress. Apparently, they don't sell a one-piece mattress protector. Gotta believe that more folks own a one-piece Cal-King mattress than a split one!
I recommend this encasement.
I just only put it on the bed. It fits perfectly and zipper very tight. So far, I'm very impressed with this encasement. Thank you.

Very Impressed - Replacing after 5 years
Been using this brand for years since living in NY and needing some protection from the possibility of bed bugs. In 2016 we bought a new $$$$ mattress and wanted to protect our investment. After surviving 2 moves we finally decided to replace our old cover which has seen 2 adults and 3 pets over the past 5 years. We were totally shocked to see the mattress inside the cover was totally unblemished and looked brand new still. These covers are wonderful to protect a mattress from anything, not just bed bugs.

Excellent product! Bought it defensively a few years ago when it was needed, but that was too late. This time I purchased a new mattress and then this item to be PREVENTIVE and protected ahead of time. Very well-constructed and the staff was helpful when I needed assistance.
