runs half size small

Ordered these sneakers online and received it the next day for a Christmas gift size 9 on sale $40 and it seems to run 1/2 small. Returning it. I reordered a for the same price 9 1/2 hopefully it will fix him. Overall, great buy, nice sneakers.
