good, tasted like my auntie's old fashion southern Georgia fruitcake!!!!!. Retail price of the fruitcake itself seemed kind of high, so when it went on sale, I bought a box.It is good, good tasting! Moist, sweet,full of fruit and nuts, just like I remember when I was a youngster. In future holidays I will buy this fruitcake for loved ones like me that love Old Fashion home. Style fruitcakes as Holiday Gifts from Macy's.

Worst tasting fruitcake ever.

I had Macy's fruitcake a few years ago, it was terrific. So, I couldn't wait to have some again this Christmas season. Boy was I surprised, there were plenty of fruits and nuts, but the flavor was honestly terrible, I couldn't believe it. I contacted Macy's, and the best they would do is a 10% discount, I told the rep "never mind". Today I called the actual baker, all the info for them was on the back of the box. The rep at Beatrice Bakeries was friendly for sure, very sweet, but she said she could not offer me a refund, nor replacement of the product. Well folks, what a shame, received a terrible tasting cake that nobody wants, and nobody will back their product. Lesson learned, that's for sure. Going with Claxton fruitcake next year, and years after, they have a wonderful tasting product that is far superior. John

Don't Waste Your Money!

I was really looking forward to getting this fruitcake. The cake is dry and has virtually no taste to it. it's very crumbly. Nowhere near worth the money. I only took one taste of it, I am going to try to return.
