Cut but not comfortable

Cute chenille slippers. Unfortunatley not very comfortable. There is a tag on each shoe just slightly above the heel on the inside. Its that part of the sole of your foot that is very sensitive. The tags are stiff and uncomfortable especially around the edges that are sewn down. I tried carefully removing the tags, but it was impossible to not take some of the fuzzy sole with it. So tags are gone, but now my heels rub against an uneven surface. I went back to wearing my old worn out Nine West slippers I got last year from Macys that are still more comfy worn out than the new Rachel Roy ones. Can't return since I removed the tags :(
