Heavy and thick material

I had bought a short-sleeve sweater dress from this brand a few months ago -- it is soft and very comfortable, so I assumed that this would be made of the same fabric. Instead, this knit is heavy and thick. The neck feels tight. It doesn't make sense to make a sleeveless dress of this kind of material. It almost feels like a compression shapewear. I'll be returning it.
