No box, No bag, but beautiful and well crafted

This is gorgeous, but came with no bag, no box. I bought as gift and now deciding if I will give as gift or not.....seems like it would have come with a box and/or bag.

Simple bag

The shape is nice. Usually, the strap is hooked on ends of a bag. But, this bag is odd by hooking strap to opposite sides. Seems unbalanced. Returned.
