Defective item received

I love these Radley crossbody bags. I purchased a dark red one. However, I just noticed a fray about one inch long in a place that was inconspicuous so I did not see it until now. The fray could not have been resulted from normal wear and tear as I have not use the bag that often; additionally, the rest of the bag is in perfect shape. It must have been a defective item. It has long passed the return date so I am not sure what to do at this time.

Ipad sized Cross body for left-handed people

I loved the quality of the bag but it was bigger than expected (more of an iPad carrier size) and they way it is constructed, you can only wear it cross-body to fall on your left side. I'm right-handed and wear my cross-body purses to fall on my right hip. Had to return for that reason.
