I randomly saw a flying doll on a battery commercial & hunted this down via Google for my niece who just turned 5. Well, it was a big hit with the kids & adults alike! I mean, it FLIES for goodness sake! This toy was the life of the party.

Fun for a few minutes

My kids were excited to open this toy and try it out. They not-so-patiently waited for the battery to be charged. Then we went into our spare room and tried it out. It was initially very exciting to play with. But they (and I) worried about it crashing into themselves and things on shelves in the room. After a couple turns each flying the toy, they were happy to move onto another activity and haven't asked to play with it again since. I wouldn't purchase this myself or recommend it to others since it probably won't get played with often enough to be worth the cost.

Worked great but takes a bit to charge

It works well and its very pretty, although it does take a bit to charge which takes away from playing time. Other than that, its a great toy, packing is very creative, the doll itself was good quality and it worked well.

Cute toy

First of all the Hatchimals Rainbow Glitter Flying Toy Doll is a very cute toy to look at. The packaging and the flying doll are quite glittery but it's taken two adults a while to figure out the flying part and how to control it. My kiddo loves it but as a parent be prepared to read instructions and help a fair bit.
