a Classic Fragrance that was a favorite but....
It looked like a great set and value as well as beautifully presented. However, the fragrance does not last or linger as before and one needs to keep reapplying it, which was a huge disappointment and complete waste of money.

Can you remember the first time you buried your face in a fragrant old fashioned rose? That creamy, deep magical rose fragrance with an indescribable swirl of delicate notes of apple blossom, lime blossom, and subtle spice, barely there? That was the delightful experience provided by a sample vial. Finally, a perfume that didn’t change to an ammonia, make my eyes water and my throat scratchy. Imagine my dismay when I bought the large bottle and found it to be a flash of alcohol followed by a momentary tingle of mosquito repellent and then a buzzy sharp rose-ish styrene plastic smell. Perplexed, I waited for another day, and sprayed one on each wrist. After the dry down, i the large bottle was sour edged and sharpish. In contrast, the tiny sample vial still retained its creamy, velvety real rose fragrance. The two are not the same. This is an issue for Estee Lauder, the manufacturer, and not a reflection on Macy’s. I can only recommend the sample size which was EXQUISITE. .
