If you found the original Polo Red too fleeting or youthful, Polo Red Extreme is the upgrade you’ve been waiting for. This is a masterclass in how to do a 'flanker' correctly. It takes the DNA of the original but strips away the screechy sweetness, replacing it with a rich, dark depth. The note breakdown is simple but incredibly effective. The opening Blood Orange is vibrant and juicy, but it quickly settles into the star of the show: a roasted Black Coffee accord that gives the scent a warm, gourmand edge without being cloying. The Ebony Wood base ties it all together with a smooth, masculine finish. Unlike the original EDT, the performance here is solid. It projects well for the first few hours and leaves a long lasting scent trail. It’s a shame this is becoming harder to find, because it is easily the most sophisticated scent in the entire Polo Red lineup.
