Love it

I’ve been using this shampoo & conditioner combo for more than a year with my straight, highlighted blonde hair. I do switch out once in awhile for a purple shampoo. My hair is left feeling clean, smooth, and voluminous. I am a fan.

Not as advertised

I can say it feels great in the shower, has a fine lather and the matching conditioner gives a nice slip/detangle. A lot of sulfate free shampoos feel weird, this feels fantastic, lathers just enough but not a lot. The scent is very santal which a lot of people love, I don’t particularly like santal but even I think this shampoo scent is bearable. I noticed my long fine hair does dry nicely, the conditioner really helps with tangles. But my roots look unwashed and weighed down. I gave it several more tries, even tried rinsing and repeating the shampoo - but the oil only accumulated. I also noticed my body and face breaking out. This shampoo and matching conditioner both contain oil and that’s probably the issue. If you have dry/coarse hair and not prone to breakouts, this will probably be wonderful for you, I’d recommend it. If you have fine hair that’s limp or you’re acne prone, I’d pass and try looking elsewhere.

Love this shampoo, just not Bluemercury

I absolutely love this shampoo!! I started using it a couple years ago and it has totally transformed my hair. However, Bluemercury is a nightmare! It took almost a month to get my order and they are not even close to helpful. This isn’t the first time I’ve had this issue with ordering from them.

I was looking for a shampoo and conditioner that would be safe during pregnancy and after trying many, this has become my new go to. It doesn't dry my hair out and I especially like it when used with the high dive moisture and shine creme!
