Sole is too thin by the toe area

The shoes was generally good, except with the padding at the front of the foot under the toe - it’s very thin. With every step taken, it feels like your toe is touching ground as if there was no padding and thin sole. I don’t know why the sole is so thick in the back and barely exists in the front. I ended up returning the shoes after trying for 2-3 weeks.
