Run short in length and wide in width

Lightweight and comfortable. Ordered a size larger (9 1/2) so that I could wear socks. Can do so, but only thin socks. These 9 1/2 shoes fit like my 8 1/2 shoes, so glad I ordered larger. They also run very wide and look like I have gigantic feet. But no worries, as I am a hiker that cares more about comfort, fit, and if they work past 10 miles (small animals won't call me 'clown feet'!)

Not what I thought.

The inside material of the top of one of the shoes was too stiff causing discomfort as I took a step. I figured they just had to be broken in, yet, after 2 weeks, it still causes pain.
