Great pair of boots! Easy to lace up and they felt super comfortable. Love that the tongue can open wider to make it easier to insert my feet into. Looks like they will last a long time and I hope to get a good few years out of them! Would definitely purchase again.

thin leather
I was expecting a full-grain leather, heavy-duty hiking boot. The toe area is just a thin leather with no reinforcement. Returned them.

I've enjoyed the high quality of Rockport products for decades. Whether it's walkers, hiking shoes, or any weather boots, Rockport is among the very best. I'm ecstatic with the look and feel of these new boots. They fit perfectly and are unbelievably comfortable. The 50% off sale price at Macy's was the icing on the cake. The boots are a beautiful smooth dark brown leather with black soles. They come packed very carefully so they will arrive without a scratch. The traction is superb. They are most definitely waterproof. I wish I could give them at least 6 stars!! Spend a little more and go for these boots. You'll save in the long run.
