Genuine rawhide laces and contrasting top-stitch detailing create the classic sea-faring style of these leather boat shoes from Rockport.
Like the look and fit of the shoe, but during the 5+ days of break-in, the stitching on the forefoot seam broke and a gap started to form. I doubt I had walked a mile, total.
Excellent quality. They fit good, but haven't worn them outside or for a long time. I especially like the shoe laces as they are more durable than previous purchases
I prefer the softer nubuck Chocolate bark version which I have worn for most of the last 30 years.
This is the 3rd pair of Rockport deck shoes that I have purchased and worn during the past several years. Although this pair is a bit different, it appears to have the same high quality that I have come to expect from Rockport. Each pair I have worn has served me well. I especially appreciate that fact that they come in half sizes with different widths.
Been wearing this shoe thirty years. Only problem is that the Perth in size 12 is very hard to find in the timber color.
If I'm not at the office, a social function, or hiking (or occasionally wearing sandals) - these are on my feet. These are my yard- & housework & up-on-the-roof shoes, my slippers, my vacation strollers, my boat shoes, my driving shoes. Solidly made, ruggedly protective, so durable and they mold to me. The only place I haven't worn them (though darn near) is to bed.
These are quality shoes and the most comfortable I’ve ever had on my feet
The shoes are well made and high quality, but I had to return them after ordering online and not knowing the right size to get. I ordered the same size in a boat shoe as another pair of Rockports, those are dress shoes. The dress shoes fit great, but boat shoes in the same size were about half an inch too long. No idea why. But I did not just get the next smaller size, because the back of the shoe is too high on my ankle and too tight at the top, it pulls on the back of my ankle, and that was not going to work.
