Web ID: 13291984Take Away the Wrinkles with Your Rowenta Iron
I have had Rowenta irons for the last 40 years and even when my husband lived in Germany for two years. They are reliable, heavy enough to really iron clothes well, and give your clothing a real professional touch. They are worth the extra dollar because of the quality of the appliance. I wish that taking wrinkles away from your face was as easy as ironing with a Rowenta iron. I know that I am a "dinosaur" because I still iron clothes, but more importantly, I enjoy ironing.
Rowenta Pro Master Xcel Steam Iron
Unfortunately I am not happy with Rowenta Pro Master Xcel Steam Iron because it does heat properly. It is suppose to be 1775 watts but it does not heat as much as it suppose to ,nor does it heat up quickly.

Rowenta Pro Master X Iron
From a functional standpoint, the iron has a good weight to smooth out wrinkles in cotton and linen in a single stroke. It’a pretty too. Yes, that’s important too.

Horrible
This iron leaks water while you're ironing. It seems like it got shipped to me used. I read the reviews and seen others complained about the same thing and I still brought it. I will return it.
Response from Macy's
We’re very sorry to hear about your experience. Your iron should not leak during use, and it should always arrive in new condition. We’d like to learn more and make this right—please contact our team at 1-800-769-3682 for assistance.
Iron Leaks
Rowenta irons are great when they work, after several uses they leak, despite following cleaning guidelines etc. I constantly have to replace my iron every year, not ideal.
Response from Macy's
Hi Jess - we’re sorry to hear this has been your experience. Our irons are designed for long-lasting performance, so recurring leaks aren’t typical. We’d like to learn more and help resolve this—please contact us at 1-800-769-3682 for assistance.
NOT made in Germany
If you are looking for a Rowenta iron made in Germany, this is not it. The pictures of the product all indicated "Made in Germany". When it arrived, the box and iron showed that they were actually "Made in China". I have had two Rowenta irons over the years (both made in Germany) that have lasted 10-15 years each with heavy usage.
Response from Macy's
Hi Maggie - We understand your disappointment and appreciate your loyalty to Rowenta. While some of our irons are now produced outside Germany, all are built to the same high standards of engineering, performance, and quality control. Thank you for sharing your feedback.

Steam Iron
Heavy to handle. Wish it was designed with a retractable cord.
Response from Macy's
